Here’s what we know about Greeley’s Friday Fest 2022 Summer Concert Lineup

By Kelly Ragan

The wind has (mostly) stopped blowing, and the sun is shining – maybe the only thing that could make summer feel closer is the announcement of Friday Fest 2022 Summer Concert Lineup.

And we’ve got it.

While the season includes some long-standing favorites like “My Blue Sky,” who perform music of the Allman Brothers family of bands, and “Funkiphino,” there are plenty of new bands playing this year.

While a couple special nights have yet to be determined, according to a news release, here’s what we know:

  • 5/27: MayPlay Music Fest headliner: Cordovas

  • 6/3: Greeley Blues Party Band (opening band)

  • 6/3: Greeley Blues Jam kickoff with Josh Hoyer and Soul Colossal

  • 6/10: Stampede kickoff with Jesse Cornett & the Revolvers

  • 6/17: My Blue Sky

  • 6/24: The Custom Shop Band

  • 7/1: 101st Army Hot 7 jazz and rock bands

  • 7/15: Musketeer Gripweed

  • 7/22: Hazel Miler and the Collective

  • 7/29: Arts Picnic kickoff with Funkiphino

  • 8/5: Stone Beat Invasion

  • 8/12: Pamlico Sound

  • 8/19: Dave Beegle and the Jurrasicasters

  • 8/26: Kelsey Jo and the Wildcards

  • 9/2: Block party and UNC celebration night – bands TBD

  • 9/9: Chain Station

  • 9/16: Mexican Independence Day – TBD

Greeley’s famous “go-cup” service is set to start at 6 p.m. at Friday Fests, with live music typically starting around 6:30 p.m.

You can bring your own lawn chairs and your own food – just not your own booze.
